The Bargaining Team has been doing extensive research for the last six or so months. We've been drafting and revising proposals and arguments. We've been  strategizing and working hard to build the member support and the networks that we need to make a difference in contract negotiations. 

Later today, we will be sitting down with the College for our third bargaining session. 

We all want to see a better Macomb--a workplace that actualizes the goals and  objectives that informs its mission and guiding principles (SEE MCC's Vision 2020 HERE).  We want equity, respect, and opportunities for advancement.

We want big wins at the table, but it takes more than a 7-person bargaining team to make that happen. 

It takes all of us--all 1094 of us--showing up, speaking up, and helping out.

The first step is showing up at the Member Meet-Ups tomorrow and being one of the 1094 who pledges your commitment to AAFMCC. 

The action that will make a difference at the bargaining table doesn't just happen at the table.
